Airport security can be complicated to get through in the best of times. During the busy holiday season, it can be a nightmare waiting to happen. Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)

Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport holds the title as World’s Busiest Airport, having handled over 100 million passengers in 2015. It is also home and primary hub of Delta Air Lines, where the airline carries approximately 75% of all passengers. Despite its size and significance, Atlanta only has service from 9 foreign airlines; yet due to Delta’s hub, there is non-stop service to over 50 countries, which is amongst the most of any US airport. >> Here’s what you need to know about  Atlanta Airport

Yotel Opens Air-Side at Paris CDG

Yotel has opened a new hotel inside security at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport. Its’ 80-room facility is located in Terminal 2E, the home of SkyTeam Alliance. The vast majority of rooms are just under 100 sq feet, with enough room for a bed and fully-equipped restroom. If travelers need more space there are accessible and family-sized rooms available as well. The hotel has no set check-in/out times in order to accommodate travelers’ schedules, and can be rented by the hour for a minimum of four hours. In order to facilitate sleep the rooms don’t have windows, which cuts down on ambient noise and allows for true black-out mode.

There are also shower-only rooms available for rent by the hour, which can be helpful for travelers who don’t have lounge access. Either of these options will be welcomed by travelers with longer layovers, giving them a place to rest in much more comfort than a typical gate waiting area while still staying within security.
